Overview
Zoom Information Inc. seeks a talented, creative, high-energy Marketing Director who can efficiently build the ZoomInfo brand, create customer awareness, drive creative inspirations and generally lead innovative marketing programs. The ideal candidate must be inspired by creative thinking and fueled with energy to juggle multiple priorities, take calculated risks and execute aggressively.
The Responsibilities
The key responsibilities for the Marketing Director include:
- Brush after every meal. Take the occasional moment to smell the roses. Do more good than harm.
- Prepare, present and execute the overall ZoomInfo marketing strategy.
- Develop and execute innovative marketing programs that promote sales, drive revenues and support the overall strategic direction of the company.
- Drive corporate marketing, positioning, and messaging strategy.
- Lead, manage and continue to evolve our corporate brand identity and creative.
- Create world-class web site materials, marketing collateral, content, and flash presentations.
- Ensure consistent implementation of brand across all public-facing communications.
- Lead a creative team of on-staff and freelancers who can deliver exciting and impactful marketing programs.
- Define, measure, manage and report on key marketing metrics.
- Prepare and present ROI analysis on all marketing programs.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive CRM program to nurture and up sell prospects and foster loyalty among current customers
- Coordinate efforts across marketing functional areas including: marcomm; design; tradeshows; events; direct; online; etc.
- Manage the implementation of marketing communications (all media) to meet sales and product goals and objectives.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with key marketing services vendors.
- Define and manage market research needs and programs.
The Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree required; Design, interactive, writing experience a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5 - 8 years experience in strategic marketing and branding role - blend of B2B with B2C ideal; B2B experience required.
- Experience within a high-tech (Internet or software) company is a plus.
- Proven track record of highly effective marketing program execution - must balance a 'scientific' approach to marketing with the creative side.
- You need to be both a doer and a thinker – pie in the sky is great, but you should know how to slice it up and serve it.
- Sense of humor and perspective - seriously: we want to want to have a beer with you.
- Strong creative ("right brain") skills and experience.
- Proven ability to effectively multi-task within small, entrepreneurial company environment
- Demonstrated ability to think and act creatively - an individual who can lead effective positioning of a company and its products through delivery
- Excellent project management skills including successful leadership of projects from planning phase through completion.
- Excellent leadership skills including superb communication (written and oral); delivery of results; partnership; problem-solving and team building.
- Self-motivated, action-oriented with a positive attitude and a zeal to win.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
